Hall Ranch worm hole!

I finally got the chance to do a shot that I have been eyeing up for a long time now out at Hall Ranch just outside of Lyons, Colorado.  I had to apply for an after hours permit because I was looking to shoot some startrails high above top hat mountain.  The location I have been looking at was at this little juniper bush near the trail head - The way it was growing, the shrub almost leans over and forms a nice frame around the mountain.  Also from this location, Polaris (the north star) is directly above the mountain, making for the classic star trail circles that resemble a huge wormhole in the sky!  It was a fun night, I want to go out there and shoot again though because the permit I have is good through all of march.  I feel I could have done this shot a little better, but for now I'm very pleased with the results. 

This image consists of about 90 images each at a 30 second exposure totaling a full 40 minutes of shooting.
